Yup, that'll work fine. I use it regularly. I've used the dry rub technique with it as well. The only thing you may want to do is thin it down with a bit of water first.

I would be more inclined to use the Elmer's Professional Wood Filler as indicated in Carl Tulanko's dry rub process. It is already the right consistency. If you add water to the Fill and Finish just make sure you don't add too much. If the balsa gets too "wet" you could have a problem with warping.

Just my opinion...

Ok, thanks! I'll try a scrap before using it on a fin..
