Does anyone know the length of the new Ellis H275? I am building a small mach buster, and need to know how far up to put the motor block. I'm guessing around 13-14" or so, but I could be wrong.

I think their site has their motor dimensions on it.

Why not just leave out the motor block and use a thrust ring?

The motor block is my shock cord mount. I take a short piece of coupler, drill 2 1/4" holes opposite each other, then put piece of 1/4-20 allthread that is the diameter of the tube through the holes and glue the unit at the length of the largest motor planned. Very strong, and also a good motor block.
