We have just released version 2.05a of the Eggfinder LCD Receiver firmware, along with an updated User's Guide and Release Notes. Changes are:
1) The North American band's frequency range has been expanded from 909-925 MHz to 903-925 MHz. With the 8 ID's that gives you 24 additional frequency/ID combinations... which should be a big help for large launches such as the upcoming LDRS at Tripoli Central California (had to give those guys a plug...)
2) Some timing changes have been made to give the LCD-GPS Module (if installed) higher priority, so the navigation screen will be more responsive to your movements on the ground when you're retrieving your rocket. We have found is our testing that it works much better now than the older firmware versions... reason enough we think to update your firmware.
3) Some verbage changes have been made to some of the screens to fix text that some users found confusing. We have also changed the satellite/fix-timer field to make it clearer what you are looking at.
The files are available on the Support section of our web site, http://eggtimerrocketry.com/eggfinder-lcd-receiver-support/
As usual, thanks for your continued support!
