if it comes handy...could I get some grade A hens egg mass figures? Woosh is planning an eggloft I got curious. from my brief bit of research I see that large eggs have shrunk since the handbook was written, G.H. lists an average weight of 75g, wiki lists a min weight for a large egg at 56g. the one egg I weighed was 60g. thanks,
Rex

I could be really wrong but I think the pink book stats are 59-64. If it's a true contest they will issue the egg at the launch.

From the 2017 TARC handbook: "Rockets must contain and completely enclose one raw hen's egg of 55 to 61 grams weight and a diameter of 45 millimeters or less."

The qualification scoresheet refers to a Grade A Large hen's egg....

So there's something for ya.

oh the eggs will be issued at the safety inspection, but it makes designing the rocket easier if you know what size the payload will be :). my current design (sim) shows 850' on a D12-5. I don't know if I will enter, but it is fun playing with the design. thanks for the info,
Rex
