eb20 baffle?

i saw this baffle on eRockets and it looked like it would be good for my estes accender. But i was wondering if anyone had used it? It doent look like it would cool the ejection charge down enough.

isn't supposed to cool things down per say, rather it is supposed to slow the passage of hot particles of carbon until the parachute has left the tube(hot gas doesn't normally hold enough heat to damage the recovery stuff).

I like and use those baffles in BT-55 through ST-20-sized models. However, I've had them blown out/apart by 24mm and 29mm motors on more than one occasion. They work great except for that.
