Working on plans for an Atlas and wanted to try doing the stage and a half booster set up. Main engine will be 24 mm with 13 mms in the outboards. There is not a lot of protrusions like a strap on booster for the air to grab when the 13s burn out. Should I assume that it won't separate untill the ejection charges blow, or will drag and gravity do the work as long as it is not a snug fit?
