Was there supposed to be a poll, or is it just a request for responses?

The answer for me is heck yes - I own 6 altimeters.

EDIT: the poll seems to work now

Just a simple yes or no, but more data is better.

I lost count of how many, I have about 10 probably more...

4 MAWDs, an HA45, an RRC2 Mini, a PF Minitimer, two Big Red Bee transmitters, two homemade/designed GPS trackers, and two homemade/designed telemetry transmitters for the MAWDs. I'm probably forgetting something. Oh, yeah, a Xavien timer that I've never flown. All of the rest of the stuff has flown. Plus an old RRC2 that flew about 35 times before disappearing in the swamp at Bong. And I suppose you could count the Sparkfun SD Datalogger hooked up to an accelerometer, which flew a few times but is now dismantled.

Edit: Oh yeah, also a Missileworks WRC (lotsa fun - flown quite a few times), and one of those PF little no-deployment altimeters.

Could I borrow one?

I have 3..Or 2 1/2..I have 2 RRC2 Mini's and my banged up Perfectflite..Got an e-mail from PF and he said the damage looks repairable..Gonna package it off and send it on up to NH to him..:)

EDIT: Forgot, I also have a HowHi(How High?The one Quest sells!:p) altimeter as well..

Like like a couple dozen electronics. I dont like to move them from rocket to rocket.. :D

Oh and then there are the ones that are no longer with us... :(

I rarely fly without one. Most of my HPR are D/D and require an altimeter. Anything greater than an H and I'm flying an altimeter. Love the Adept ALTS25, but also have a Gwiz. Might get a Raven once the new version is available.

No altimeters but I do use timers. Usually build them myself but I like the old Robbie's Rocket timer based off of a Radio Shack timer.

1 RDAS Mini
2 ARTS2
1 Featherweight Parrot 1
1 Featherweight Parrot 2
1 Alt15K
1 AltAcc
1 Cambridge accelerometer Circa 1995 - never used

1 - Ozark Aerospace ARTS2
1 - Missileworks RRC2 mini
1 - G-Wiz HCX
1 - Featherweight Parrot
1 - Missileworks PET2
1 - Xavien XDSRT-1
1 - Xavien XCIC-1
2 - Beeline FM Transmitters

I've owned numerous; one has been "misplaced," one has been re-kitted, and some others were sold because I wasn't using them.

I now am down to a MAWD, an RRC2 Mini and a pair of Parrots (one of which has been altered by a drill bit).

1 Entacore AIM USB 1.3

Only 1 flight on it so far, but it looks promising.

1 each Perfectflight Hi-ALT45K, MAWD
2 Missileworks RRC2 mini
2 Featherweight Ravens
1 Beeline transmitter

2 - MAWD (1 needs repair, pizio(sp?) buzzer broke)
1 - HA45
1 - Arts 2
1 - Home brew (made by a close friend).
1 - PF Mini 3G timer

All of the above are user friendly and very dependable. I usually fly redundant avionics. 2 Alts, 4 deployment charges.

Does the AltimeterOne have its case issues figured out yet? I thought I saw something about a recall?

I think they should put the loop through both halves of the case, or is that loop through the circut board? Can't tell from pic...At least if the case came unglued, maybe all the pieces would still be there. :confused2:

I am thinking of getting one, and I think I would choose that one.

Blinking lights make me dizzy, and I may run out of fingers counting beeps. :p

I don't think the recall had anything to do with the case - I think it had to do with the altimeter misreporting certain altitudes.

I did a quick inventory last night & have the following:

1- R-DAS Tiny
1- RRC mini
1- Raven
2- Parrots

All my HPR are dual deploy. It feels funny going to the pad with a rocket without electronics.
Operational:
4 MAWD
RAS2
RRC2 (original, not mini)
Raven
Walston tracker

I have an Altimeter One on the way from Apogee.
Should be here in a couple of weeks.

Mike,

I agree. (You can send the Marsa4 my way.)

-Tim

Nope. John's got for repair.:(
the main got stuck and the rocket landed sideways and cracked the LCD.
I'll be keeping that one anyway.
The Classic RRC2's are for sale though.(sold)
