Greetings, everybody. Do NAR and TRA have their mission statements published someplace? I spent about 15 minutes on their websites trying to find them and could not.

What are their stated missions?

Thanks!

"To explore strange, new worlds, to seek out new life, new civilizations..."

(Okay, someone had to say it).

Yes, I'm talking about the cute 3 to 5 line MBA-type mission statement like various companies and non-profits have.

ASPCA's is simple: “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.”

The AMA has theirs at the end of this page: https://www.modelaircraft.org/membership/organization.aspx

Just wondering if NAR and TRA operate with a mission vision...

It'd be nice if it was easier to find and more prominently displayed.

Just saying.

Mission statement is a rather new term adopted by the military industrial complex. In the old days it was called purpose.

Oh if that's the case, I'll quote another long time TRFer and ask-
What did the NAR or TRA webmaster say when you emailed or called them about that?

As kjohnson says, NAR's is here. It is designed to be modular, so depending on what you're using it for, you can use some or all of the paragraphs after the first one.
