This is a sanding tool/technique that I have been doing for a while now. Sanding pads made using rubber insulation tape for pipes. The brand I have is Frost King. Just stick your favorite sandpaper (I like the 3M Sandblaster Pro from Lowe’s) to the adhesive side of the tape. You can write the grit on the back with a sharpie. Easy on the hand and great for conforming to body tubes, rounding fin edges, and fillets.
