You cannot reasonably require someone to work that long without eating or drinking. An OSHA complaint would not be inappropriate here. Of course, I understand that you and/or your wife don't want to go there right now.

But you can't go all day without any food or drink. That's nuts. Any functional human in HR should be able to understand that, and come to some sort of accommodation. I also understand that not all companies have functional humans in HR.

Here is what I have to work with for now. A friend of my wife is making me a cloth mask ti help keep more "stuff" off of the outside of my N95.

Fortunately, we only have to wear our mask during patient care and when we are in the ER or hospital floors. Our office in the hospital and our hangar are private with only our crews going in and out.
