I was reading an old NAR report on the history of RCRGs from Bunny Bundick and he mentioned Dixie style RCBGs during the '80s. What were these like? Are there any plans on the web?

He may have been referring to George Gassaway, who once lived in Alabama. George developed the Xebec pop-elevator type R/G, and later the Stiletto(slide wing with a pop-up DT). There was a friendly rivalry between North and South back in those days, which were eventually settled by the unholy Zunofark alliance. There are plans on the NAR site

Back in the early to mid-1970's a "Southern" NAR competitor named Terry Lee gained quite a reputation with B/G's.

I was wondering if maybe it was a reference to something like the Dixie Gal or Yeoman Dixielander?

Terry Lee had names for his gliders like "Rebel Yell", "Southern Belle", etc.
