Hmmm, Would thier 1/2 inch Dia. Kevlar sleeve make good HP Shock cord? Or maybe a slightly larger Dia would make a good shock cord protector.

We actually do make shock cords (bungee cords). Check out ebay item# 7948110641 or this link may work: https://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/...&item=7948110641&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MESE:IT for an example of what they look like...

I don't know what "HP" is but all the sleeves work like a Chinese fingertrap (they expand in width when the ends are pushed together, or contract in width when the ends are pulled). We use these same sleeves to make both shock cords and composite shafts!

BTW - The 3/4inch Kevlar Sleeves make great shock cords protectors for 3/8 inch diameter shock cords. Add about 1/4inch to the diameter of the shock cord for the kevlar sleeve size you should use as a protector, then add about 20-30% more length to the kevlar sleeve than the actual shock cord length.

Thank you!

what would 16" and 24" light and heavy carbon sleeves cost?

Just ordered some fabric! I'll let you guys know what happens. So far Jon has been VERY quick with his email respones!

Well, I received the stuff a few days ago! He's a very fast shipper with very reasonable shipping rates (unlike Aircraft Spruce).

Due to increases in carbon fiber in the industry, our HUGE sale prices on 1.5" Carbon fiber sleeves will end on Friday 1/28/04!
If you want HUGE discounted sleeving, buy while the sale is still on!

Also note that our "buy at the 30ft price" (for Rockety Forum members) sale ends on Moday 1/31.

Please contact us with any questions!

We were told next week, but the ship date has already slipped from last week to next week, for the order (that was placed in November).

FYI...Large carbon fiber orders are becomming much harder to get a reasonable rates and shipped without delays, due to large Gov purchases eating up much of the available supply.

We are fully stocked in all other fabrics Plain, Harness-Satin H5 & H8, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Silver, Kevlar, UNI-Directional Tape 4.0oz & 9.0oz and of course Sleeves in Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, Kevlar & Hybrid.

Thanks,
