We’ll start humble. I want color but not weight. Starting weight of 18” BT-50 raw 10.9 grams
Finished weight not measurably different.
Not quite blood red, but a nice start.

nose cone took color well. I was concerned it would look different.
As expected, no measurable weight change.

There's the spray gun technique, the rattle can technique, and the Sharpie pen technique. I approve...

Actually works really well with black.
We will see how well it works on the papered fins, i suspect will be much more uneven/crayon-y

I am kind of a fan of the metric system, especially the 10 meter finish!

Agree. Half of the black on my Saturn 1B is Sharpie. It’s a lot easier to fix the black paint on my Executioner with a marker than my white Honest John.

Fins., with precut slots. Should have weighed before and after I glued paper on.

Will you be joining both 18" tubes or just going with the one?

2. I am thinking of a multipurpose tube, one I can use with this tail design as well as for test bed for horizontal spin.
