A lesson on "How to add some WACK to your Blue-Tooth speaker"
I have a pair of the original Vidars. They drive my Maggies, fed by a Freya S.fedex dropped a piece of Schiit

ive heard great things aboot the vidar ii, hopefully theyre all right
I have two cats, Lagertha and Big Boy. Lagertha, when she was younger, tried sharpening her claws on my Maggies. Never hit the diaphragms, but did hit the sock on the edge of one of them. Invested in some ant-cat spray to go on the Maggies and she stopped. Big Boy is too fat and lazy to mess with anything other than laying on the bed and eating.I'd love to have a set of magnepans or logans, but I have cats, a cone is cheap, reskinning an esl? Might as well buy a new set. My oldest brother had a set of ML Clx2s, truly, literally, jawdropping
Note the dateline on that story.
Nice article. I want the Bass enhancing stuff.
what they normally say about "military grade"- made by the lowest bidderThey might have had audiophile grade weed, but it doesn't look like they had audiophile grade equipment...

That's another one to add to the list:
medical grade
military grade
aircraft grade
audiophile grade
Ooooo - "military grade" cannabis!
Litz wire used to be popular for tonearm wiring and I know there were people back in the day who wanted everything in their system using that wire, But we all know that the wire debate will be never ending.I have a stupid question for the forum. Does anybody use Litz wire (oxygen free) connectors for pickups any more? Or is it more like the lead covered bricks sold to combat "room resonance" placed on your amps. So much bs in high end audio. BTW- did you know the little bones in your ears calcify over time? At one time (as documented by our great US Army) I could hear into the low ultrasonic range.
When I went to get my hearing tested the guy was asking me questions and I was telling him about my abuse of my ears because of my trade, working in commercial air conditioning and always being next to compressors or fan motors, and then there was 50 years of heavy headphone use.... and the time at McDonnell Douglas banging rivets on aircraft wings, and playing in big bands, Then add in the calcification you mentioned above, Then add the CMT disease destroying the nerves throughout my body, I'm surprised I have any hearing left at all.Now I can't t even hear if you call me for dinner. Being an aircraft mechanic took care of that problem pretty fast. And yes, I spent crazy money on audio and music equipment. Why I don't own my own country today...if you don't count getting married....
