Decals

Looking for decals for finishing up a Orbital Transport. The decals that came with the kit are very old and very very brittle and keep breaking just trying to slide them off the wet paper. Even after soaking for a good 5 min. Any help would be appreciated..

Do you have any means for printing up your own decals?

I didn't see them on sandman's or stickershock's websites. I think Micro Mark makes something to paint the decals with to hold them together better but the name escapes me at the moment. (It's likely in their Microl Sol / Micro Set line) I also recall many threads on spraying with Krylon UV Chrystal Clear but wasn't sure if that was a solution to your current issue.

They have sets in five different colors BUT it is for their Semroc Orbital Transport, which may or may not be an exact fit to the Estes Orbital Transport.

you can also get "deca-film" which can be brushed onto the decal sheet to give it some strength.. Any decent hobby shop should have some..

not sure if there are others, kind of neat to see the relationships between the old kits and how some of the decal artwork gets re-used.
