I finished 2 builds- Estes Black Brant II and Estes Bullpup. It took several days to get all of the decals on. They're not perfect but will be OK for a flying model. On the BB there are touchups that I might be able to do with a black Sharpie pen. Both of these kits were very old, rescued from our club stash. The decals for the BB were pretty well behaved but the decals for the BP were not- some of them had to soak for 2 or 3 minutes before they let go while others would release faster. Some of the long thin ones would release unevenly and tore while I was working with them. I haven't done rockets with a lot of decals in a long time and I'm not in the habit of clearcoating over them but maybe these would require it.

Wow !

It is interesting to see the three-finned BB II do a very slow, counterclockwise 2/3 roll (*) that seems to dampen out soon after leaving the rail.

Does anyone know if there a post-launch written report for that flight ?

Thanks.

If I want a kit that I know has waterslides (mainly Estes), I immediately go to Stickershock to see if he by chance has them in the original size and if not, I wont get it. I’m glad he has original sized decals in vinyl for the Black Star Voyager. I did Estes waterslides a long time ago and could never get them to work properly. Tried them recently again on their Great Goblin and they were crap again. No more for me.
