OK I've often seen this motor code mentioned and was wondering what the 'P' on the end stood for.

Since it seems to be in the place of the delay in the code I'm guessing thats it's somthing to do with that or maybe the ejection charge, could someone please tell me what it means?

Thanks

Mike,

The "P" stands for plugged. these engines have no delay or ejection charge and were designed to use in rocket powered R/C gliders.

Does Estes still make D11-Ps? I remember when they first released them with the E15-Ps, and always wanted to use a couple to airstart or something... with the Estes motor production routine, I just can't keep track of what they have and what they don't!

TIA.

As far as I know, If you can't find the -p's for an airstart, you can mix a little epoxy, and put it at the ejection charge end of a D12 in a good amount, and that plugs it good enough. Maybe someone can elaborate on this better for me?

Hope this Helps,
Jason
