My Razor was one of my early rockets and as best as I can tell, it had not flown in almost 2 years. I figure its sad to grow old and useless so we celebrated my birthday by flying together.

I loaded an A8-3 and took it to the pad where it waited patiently while we tried to sort out a short in the lines.

I did not remember how fast this little rocket takes off. One moment it was on the pad and the next I was trying to find it in the sky. Make that way up in the sky...on an A.

Ejection was nominal and it drifted back down fine. It must not have wanted to end the day though because it latched onto a barbed wire fence instead of hitting the ground.

Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, John!!!

N
Thanks.

I celebrated it the only right way, with lots of flights.

The field was a soggy mess but the rain stopped yesterday and it was great today...except for the 18000 lb truck that's still in the mud.
