Just finished up today with a custom made chute. 12” in diameter, 2.4” spill hole, and 12 gores. Definitely a bulky build with 12 gores and shroud lines, but it was fun to do :D. Looking forward to trying this chute out on one of my rockets soon! Let me know what you guys think!

Oh yeah I wouldn’t doubt it. I wouldn’t fly this without a gps tracker onboard.
I was gonna say... When I first saw this I said to myself "sky blue and cloud white, that's a combination you usually don't see in the sky..."

It looks like you did a great job with cutting and sewing to the pattern. Im impressed with how well it's inflating, what weight nylon did you use? I'm not used to seeing such a nice inflation on that small of a chute.

Well thank you! It was definitely hard getting a picture of it inflated. More pictures to come for sure. I used 1.1oz Ripstop Nylon using a custom sewing method I figured out that works best for inflating. I’m about to order some different colors soon to make some Halloween themed chutes! 🎃

Should fly just fine. If you want to reduce line bulk, check out braided Spectra fishing line. I use 200 lb in mine. This is a 12" as well.

My opinion 70lb braided nylon is enough a 12" chute.
Agreed, I just find the 200 lb is easier to sew on. It is overkill to have 2400 lbs worth of lines on a 12" drogue. But I also would rather save the fuss of trying to hit such a skinny line with the needle... ;)

That is true we had a harder time sewing the lines on.
