I'm working on compiling a list of all the altimeters and timers currently available, as well as things that are close to being released. In addition, I need contact information for the manufacturer (website is fine).

regarding picoalt:
I've NEVER been able to get any response from them (him). Are they (he) in business at all any more?

Bear Altimeters by Boris --- https://rocket.payload.free.fr/
4 model's
Altiuno - single deploy
Altiduo - duel deploy - programable
altiduo mini - duel deploy
these report max altitude till powered off
rocket flytelogger - 3 programmable outputs and saves flyte data
These are kitbuilt altimeters at reasonable prices

Me either. I even tried contacting Robert through amwprox but still nothing. Not even a "sorry, I don't sell them anymore."

I have both ordered and received product through AMWProX.com (AMW nozzles, Estes Pro kit and Cesaroni hardware); IIRC, no shipping info, product just showed up.

Others mentioned Adept - www.adeptrocketry.com (a number of products from $20 on up), Jolly Logic (AltimeterOne/Two) and Estes. Another that's on the Pink Book Appendix G list that's in production but not mentioned yet is the HowHigh RT from Winged Shadow Systems (https://www.wingedshadow.com/howhigh.html). If you're not confining yourself to US products then there are the Adrels (https://www.adrel.com.pl/altimeter.html), one of which is also on the Appendix G list.

There is also the Russian FirstFlight SD altimeter, introduced to the world on this forum about two years ago: https://ffrockets.com/en/products/sdr/ As far as I know, it's still available.

Finally - something you listed that is NOT an altimeter: the PerfectFlite MiniTimer4. It's a timer.

The PET2+ is also a timer, and the WRC is radio control.

Perhaps "flight computer" is more correct, but for all intents and purposes "altimeter" will do.

Oooops - I just reread the original post....and it says "....and timers". Sorry, Troj! I was going off the thread title without reading the post carefully.

The estes altimeter and Jolly Logic come to mind...

And the eggtimer...

What would be good is some sort of compareason table with all the altimeters from all brand
Something like te one I did for all my models
https://rocket.payload.free.fr/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=16&Itemid=13&lang=en

Agreed! I would like to see a comparison table with price points, features and other information.

Also, Spektrum (Horizon Hobby) make some really nice Telemetry Transmiters and receivers designed for RC aircraft. I don't see why this technology could not be adapted for rocketry.

That's what I'm trying to work towards.... :)

Okay, I've updated the list. Am I missing anything else?

I will email adept and get you a list of the ones still available.

Well thanks for your input. If everyone here was completely unable to read or follow a post in chronological order we wouldn't have seen all of your valuable In sight. Since we can and do we saw all your input was posted yesterday in the first couple of responses and multiple times.

I don't have anything to add, except thanks for doing this. Several club members have asked me about electronics (I am not L1 even, just old :) ) I started a search but my list is about 1/5 of what you have. Please make this a sticky!

If you are including the Transolve Flux Capacitor, you might consider the Wooshtronics uMAD tilt detector: https://www.whooshtronics.com/products-t83/umad.aspx. Although sold out now, it seems the do have some stock from time to time. I have two and the work well.

If they're not really reliably available, I think I'm going to leave them out -- I want to keep the list limited to what's readily available, otherwise it just creates frustration/confusion for people.

www.xavien.com I have the X-FiST unit of theirs, not sure if they are still active but the website is active.

Also excluded; not available, even if the website is.

If you also count trackers, the Beeline is missing.

I'm not including trackers, at this point; just altimeters/timers.

For G-Wiz, I had initially planned on including them but I couldn't find a dealer that actually offered them for sale, and I know folks have recently had difficulty reaching Robert Briody.

Is G-Wiz still actively selling product? If so, does anyone know a dealer that sells it?

I'm very specifically limiting the list to what a consumer could actually purchase today, or something that's very close to release (like the MARSA54L).

There are some still in the dealer pipeline. I was able to buy two G-Wiz LCX units earlier this year (the Comanche 3 required 5 flight computers). As I understand it, no more are being produced, sadly.
