I think these are so funny, I have to build one. For any who already have, what did you use? The coin bank, or scratch build. I am thinking mainly high power, and maybe night flight.

Forgive any odd typos, typing is odd on a Wii. ^_^

Sue basically owns the crayon rocket design. The cray puppy is awesome.

I have one almost ready to fly. I still have to cut the fins out with my scroll saw and get some tubular nylon for the shock cord. If you do build one, use the bank from toys r us. They cost like $6.99 and come with the body tube and nosecone. If you don't want to cut your own rings, PML 3.9 inch coupler rings fit in the crayons well. If you do make an order with PML. Make sure they are the 3.9 inch coupler rings. I just about ordered standard airframe rings.

My son is currently finishing up a sport scale Nike Ajax built from a crayon bank. Calls it the Nike Crayjax! Pretty darn cool!

I took a 3" piece of 1/4" launch lug, a dowel, clear plastic, and a few other parts.. and made a 1:1 scale crayon. Haven't flown it yet, though.
