Talk to your doctor for sure, especially if you have some kind of compromising condition, but I think all along the idea was that the Covid and RSV vaccines were eventually going to be rolled into the annual flu shot. The fact that we're there now indicates to me that the vaccines are mature and that the risks are relatively low... much lower than the risks of serious health consequences from those viruses.

What ever you do, also get the shingles vac, but beware, that one is a real doozy. Don't get it at the same time as anything else!

But better than the Shingles as the illness.
Patients have told me Shingles is the worst thing they have experienced and would rather pass a large kidney stone or have more children than experience Shingles again.

On the shot, I had a Covid booster and flu shot a few days apart last Fall. I felt run down for a day, but better than being sick for a week and using up my PTO. I don't know what I'll do this Fall yet, but I do like the idea of an eventual combo vaccine for annual diseases I don't want to get.

If you wait too long in seeking medical attention then the antivirals are not effective and you can look forward to months of neuropathy. That's what happened to my mom.
When I got the rash I recognized it and the doctor started the antiviral immediately. Cleared it up quickly, no long term pain.
IIRC a few years later when I was given the shingles vaccine it was a two dose regimen, given a couple of months apart. I guess some people get one dose and some get two.
