correct fin measurement ?

I have seen several different measurements

Can someone provide me with the correct length for

the root edge of an Estes Maxi Icarus ?

just the length of the root edge is needed

The fins I used in my .ork file are based on the image found in JimZ site:
https://www.spacemodeling.org/jimz/est1331.htm

That image shows a 1" marker, and scaling to that was how I got my length. I have the root edge as: 2 5/16"
