Cool Google Earth Picture

Looking over the Google Earth data from my area, I spotted an unusual artifact in the picture and when I zoomed in I found this:

The airplane?

Good catch. I’ve seen a few planes “sunken” in the Columbia River a time or two as the leave or arrive at PDX.

That's the flight path as there are 3 white plane pics in a line, if that's what you are referring to.

Yes, it's a plane on approach to the Eugene(EUG) airport.
The image is of one plane is that is captured in several subsequent pictures.

Ah. That is interesting. I figured it was multiple planes in a row approaching an airport.

I remember you could see lots of planes on Google maps satellite. On teh tarmak, on runways, in teh air, etc.. but they all seem to now be edited out..
