Here is some more of the final progress. The one bad hawk 3/4 tubular kevlar harness with 3/8 swivels for the lower Y snd chute. Drouge used smaller swivel. Assembled and ground testing charges with a couple other of my rockets. Ended up with needing 5 gram apogee charge back up apogee is 6 grams, main charge 6 grams with a back up main charge at 7 grams.

Also started using soft links in favor over quick links. Easily stronger or just as strong. Nothing metal to short a connection on the bulk plate on your charge connectors. Lighter in weight by far and cost is pretty reasonable. These are made by professional rigger. Rated at 2500lbs each. Quick.and easy to use. Pics show how they fasten but would wrap 2 times before fastening.

Went to the Northern Colorado Rocketry Mile High Mayhem event this last weekend to fly this project. It turned out to be a spectacular weekend at my home flying field. Beautiful weather, beautiful range. Beautiful rockets. Lots of great people and flights.

Conway-great looking build! I particularly like your well planned sled. A couple of questions:
1. Where did you mount the screw switches and I presume you used them as "safety" pre-switches for the wifi switches.
2. Do you have the stl files for the wifi switch holders and can they be shared?
3. What has been your experience with the performance of the feather weight gps unit.
I hope you are feeling better and I look forward to your responses.

Thank you Fred!! Appreciate it. I used the Adaptive Aerospace screw mounts for the pcb screw switches. Screw the switch to the mount and you just drill your holes through the body and the av bay. Then its glued in place right inside the av bay lined up with the holes. These were used as a power kill/enable to the wifi switches for added safety and to keep the batteries fresh. Used 2s 300mah lipos. A friend of mine built/designed the 3d printed holders for wifi switches, altimeters and batteries. He has Sky Dancer Rocketry. Does alot of 3d stuff. I can check to see if he would share the stl. Ive now used about everything BUT a kate as far as non HAM based units. So far the Featherweight is my favorite over Eggfinder, BRB 900mhz, apogee simple gps, the Missleworks Ts unit and anything else ive used. The Missleworks RTX telemetry system is second after that. But for what the cost , the size, the accuracy, the ease of use, the voiced telemetry spoke, recorded data, even the Application for the Apple phone is all awesome. Plus data displayed is incredible. The line of site finder even helped locate some other flights i did with small rockets that werent visible at 15k ft. But it helped me see recovery of the main occur. Plus it saves data you can then pull off for that flight. It also is LoRa abd has other abilities as a system. Extremely impressed. Its also been tested to 140k in altitude.

Getting there slowly but surely. Will take some time. Fortunately i have had lots of help from good friends to the pad and with recovery. So that helps. But long road ahead. Im not going to let it derail me with what i enjoy.

Here are some added pics of the switches, mounting, my bulk plates, charge canisters and mounting etc..

Some added data that i was able to gather parts of it from the altimers. still need to get the data off the GPS.

Altitude was 12,203ft. agl
Mach 0.9 at 691mph
Drogue decent 91ft per sec
Main decent 18ft per second
Flew from 5260 ground level
88F temp

Should be some more data as i get it from the gps. This is from the Missleworks altimeters.
