OK I have one that's stumping me so I figured someone here might have a better clue than me. When I try to open an email attachment with a PPT or PPS extension, I get a popup box saying it can't be opened because there is no program associated with the file and that I should go into Folder Options and create an association. When I go into folder options though, the correct associations are there. Someone had suggested changing the association and then changing it back but that did not work. The only way I was able to get it to work was to save the attachment to my hard drive and then go into it and open it with the appropriate program but I would like not to have to do that every time. Odd that it works that way but I can't simply open it from the email. I am running Windows XP on a Dell pc.
So, any ideas? Anything to lead me in the right direction would be appreciated!
