Show thread of my Composite Warehouse Lotus 3.
First off, really nice kit, I am very impressed with Composite Warehouse quality.
and who could resist a rocket where the nose cone is literally longer than the body tube.
True full fiberglass kit
Clean colored fiberglass parts and pre-slotted body tube
Pre-weighted spiral wound Fiberglas nose cone (really nice touch)
38mm motor mount
Nose coupler/shoulder plenty long for HED if dual deploy is your desire
This is only my second fiberglass kit to date but I think it turned out pretty good. - little sanding here and there, as to be expected, built out for single deploy for simplicity.
Sims out quite well on OR with G mid power motors and is ready for H level 1 attempt if i were so inclined
I still have external fillets to go but the kit has been washed, roughed where needed and assembled with 30min BSI epoxy
The external fillets will either be clear or dyed black, have not decided yet.
I went with a Kraken theme - just because.
