A while back I stumbled across a build thread where a 2 liter coke bottle was used to make a rocket. A tube fin formed the base under the bottle and was held in place with fin spokes attached to the extended MMT. I can't seem to locate that thread. Can anyone point it out to me?

I did it... Mine was rear-eject. A 24mm mmt inside a BT60. The tubefins were BT-60 with mini-Coke label stickers. Woefully underpowered. If I re-do it, I'll go to a 29mm mmt.

Agreed - 29mm is my plan also. Can always use an adapter to downsize engine for small field
