The first of five Acton launches this season will be on 28 May. Acton is a low- and mid-power field so no high-power rockets and, as always, no sparky motors. This launch has also been registered as an NRC event so bring your contest rockets. We won’t have a motor vendor on site this time but Wildman CT will attend some of our launches this season; more on that in later announcements.
Unfortunately, the weather looks pretty bad according to Windy.com. Lots of wind and scattered showers during most of our scheduled time. Our cricket friends have the field on Sunday so that won’t be an option. We will likely have a reduced set up and a short day. Even if you don’t get to fly much, this will be a great opportunity to pick up items you won in the recent auction. Be sure to let Claude know you’ll be there.
COVID-19 is still with us in one form or another so please take precautions and be courteous of others.
