We've all seen them... sometimes (like us every year) you even make a pilgramage to go around and "check 'em out"

Christmas lights...

The Crown Jewel (in some peoples eyes) to the holiday decoration. Sometimes done with style and taste and other times... ...well let's just say that some people shouldn't be allowed to string lights...

We went out last night on our annual pilgrimage to see all the decorations around our town. Some were great, some a little over done, but all great fun.

You always knew when you were close to an (i'll say) *ellaborate* one, cuz it looked like the sun rising on the horizon and there were always gobs of cars and foot traffice as onlookers would gawk at the display...

This one even had the swing set decorated along with scores of moving animals and people. You could see the glow from this house from a mile away. The power company must *love* these people! LOL

Putting christmas lights on your house is only a recent phenomenon over here in the U.K.It only started happening after an episode of simpsons featured Homer putting lights on his house(and being out done by his neighbour Ned).
