You know me well Bernard! The possibilities!
Stick a motor in it so the nozzle is inside the cup and add streamer to the edge of the bottom. The streamers will stabilize it. And paint it red.
I am quite certain that if you put a motor tube inside and fly it bottom up like the two that are turned that way in Derek's picture, it will fly fine with no need of streamers for stability. See the Up Cup from Odd'l Rockets for example.
My suggestion of streamers was for visual effect more than for stability.
Ah. Yes, that would make for a fun visual.
They would make nice nozzles for an upscale Space Shuttle or Titan EIII.
That would be some upscale.
