Do you think these meet the admittedly highly paranoid (i.e., to my knowledge not based upon any previous accidents experienced despite many thousands of "igniters" mailed over the years) U.S. regulatory requirements, especially those which the hobby rocketry manufacturers are now required to meet with their "starters"? Somehow, I doubt it.

The Chinese wireless remote firing units these are intended to be used with ignite them with 6V from 4 AAs. Those wireless firing units of many kinds are also available on eBay and from the very little tech info I found about them in the eBay ads appear to be using a frequency which is not authorized for that use in the US.

I use them for ejection charges, never a failure. I have no idea how legal to ship to USA. They have probably shipped millions!
