They never found MH370, did they?
They recovered some personal effects from the aircraft’s occupants, as well as some aircraft components, the most notable find being a flaperon that was traced to the aircraft via serial number. A horizontal stabilizer panel, a piece of a flap track fairing, and a piece of an engine cowling have also been found and identified.

The bulk of the wreckage remains unrecovered and the cause of the incident is still unknown.

Australian Financial Review is reporting that a piece of the aircraft was recovered 10km away from the main crash site.

The article is behind a paywall but the crash’s Wikipedia article cites it and claims that the fragment was 1.3 meters by 0.1 meters. A strip about 4-ish feet long and a few inches wide.

No word yet on if its detachment was the cause of the accident or secondary damage produced by a different failure. The distance from the main crash site suggests that it detached from the aircraft at a substantial altitude, though.

The BBC is reporting that CAAC, the investigative authority, is looking at both mechanical failure and sabotage by crew. Three people were on the flight deck, with the second officer observing for training.

No motive for sabotage has been discovered for any of the flight crew, however. I’d keep an eye on what information becomes available about the detached strip, that might be key.
