Chat room problem

Does anyone know why when I try to go to the chat room, it does not load. It used to and now it does not. Can anyone help?

Odd, it was working OK last night. Today I had to type
/join #therocketryforum
before I was actually in the chat room itself.

I've never been able to get into the chat room.
Not once.
My Java works with everything else that I've tried, but when I try to get into TRF Chat the screen loads as far as getting a grey box with the Java icon in the upper left corner then hangs.
At that point, if I click ANYWHERE on that window, it just bings at me. Cannot even click the close "X". Same thing if I try to click the window thingee in the start bar.
To close the window I have to use Task Manager to "End Task" and then it closes both the original TRF window and the chat window.
I'm sure it is something on my machine, but don't know what.
I've even updated Java and still does it.
