Characters being replaced with ***?

I've noticed this a few places on the forum but can't figure out what's causing it.

If I type the letters Uniform, Papa, *quotation mark*, it is replaced with ***

Admins... what gives? It seems like an explicit language filter gone rogue.

Yup, I'm guessing a typo in one of the naughtiness definitions.

When I get on laptop later tiday, I'll check the filter. That usually shows something being censored

Send me a message with the three letters ********* out, but with a space between them. Right now there is one word with a couple of combinations of it.

I've done a little tweak to the censor feature. I made it VERY specific to the small amount in it. See if you can type what started this now blackbrandt.
