3d printing... I don't know if it's a good thing for companies selling model rocket kits... or the beginning of the end?
 
He says he's winding down the rocketry end of the business and concentrating on the gaming (I think).
Anyhoo, UMRS is going dark soon, so if you need parts, motor mounts, cluster centering rings, TLP plan packs, whatever now is the time.

Pretty sure both will stay. In general modelling, wood and carboard and plastic and metal are still all available. Each one has its fans.
 
I think the move to 3D printing by several manufacturers has to do with the balsa shortage. Randy Boadway of erockets said something to that effect at NARAM in the video I saw.
To paraphrase, people might not want to pay $50 for a balsa nose cone.
