About six months before the disaster, Boisjoly — an engineer at Morton Thiokol, the firm that built the boosters — wrote a memo warning that freezing temperatures could lead to this nightmare scenario.

I was just watching a Challenger documentary, I think on Netflix, just titled "Challenger", and I was surprised that it had not one single mention of Boisjoly.

At the time the principal players were in the news everywhere. It is now 35 years later and all of that is a distant memory.
