Centuri Astro-1 nose cone replacement?

Any clues as to a plastic substitute/equivilent?

JimZ' plans doesn't offer any clues. Body tube is suposed to be an ST-10, not sure if there is something close in the Estes stable, maybe even slightly undersized that I can wrap masking tape around to size out.

Any suggestions?

Semroc. They re-released the Astro-1. I think it will be a tad bigger because they use thicker tubing, but thats something a little sandpaper will fix.

Balsa, but with a little fill and finish it can look like plastic.
