I will always be a Centuri fan and, as a BAR, I looked for every opportunity to buy old Centuri kits that I could. I didn't get all of them but I did get the Sky Devil. It's a fairly basic 4 fin sport rocket but there is a bit of distinctiveness in the profile of the mostly normal fin profiles. It has an 18mm mount and recovers by parachute. The kit is new and unopened.

I am asking $75

This kit is offered for sale in an effort to liquidate my collection of kits and is being offered via cross postings on The Rocketry Forum and Ye Olde Rocket Forum. The price indicated is what I have determined by looking for evidence of similar sales but, admittedly, might reflect a poor judgement on my part. I'm just doing the best that I can. The price does NOT include shipping. Interested persons are invited to contact me via PM and I will calculate the shipping. Payment is expected by means of PayPal, Zelle or Venmo. My intention is to make shipments twice per week after confirming receipt of funds. I will try to give the most accurate descriptions I am able to provide and will happily answer any specific questions either by PM or within the post thread.

I'm trying to be fair and honor a "first come, first serve" precedence when dealing with inquiries. That invovles juggling messages I see while at work at the hospital coming from both TRF and YORF. That started out easy but got more complicated as there were more and more rockets listed. I made some mistakes and for that I am sorry.

I also don't mind holding rockets as you wait for more to become available. This does help with shipping costs and nobody has been more horrified than I over the current postal rates. That said, I am going to have to change one thing. I am only going to set aside "sold" rockets. I tried it the other way and a few times I was left in the lurch when others were interested in a rocket. That was only a mild annoyance. What I cannot tolerate is the mistakes that I made in selling something that had been promised. With my faulty memory and hectic schedule, the only way to prevent this when so many rockets are up for sale (with hundreds more to come) is to strictly segregate the sold stuff from the unsold stuff. A hold with an intent to buy now gets 24 hours, barring exigent circumstances, after that, it's back on the market.

The sale of the Sky Devil is temporaily suspended. It has succumbed to brittle bag syndrome and I need to inventory the parts to make sure that nothing is missing.

A unique feature of this classic collectible kit is that it comes with 8 unique fin patterns, some with either 3, 4, or 5 fins, that you can pick and choose one of them to layout and cut from the included balsa sheet.
Good luck with the sale!

I have gone through the instructions and the bag and inventoried the parts. Sadly, Centuri did not provide an enumerated parts list, only the instruction and a sketch with all of the parts laid out. Fortunately, the kit is not all that complex. I found everything to be present but some of the adhesive disks used to connect parachute shrouds to the canopy have dried up and slipped off of their sheet. I have placed all of the parts in a Ziploc. It is no longer "new and unopened" but is perfectly serviceable for a builder rather than a collection. The new price reflects that.

Interested. Is the card still intact?

I'm assuming yes but you know what they say about assuming things lol

I am not 100% sure what card you mean but I suspect it is the face card that is the "display" of the hanging bag. If that is the case, then yes. It is undamaged and in the package.

Other "cardish" stuff included are the instructions, the fin cutout template (actually the reverse of the face card), a little blue card instructing you to tape 2 quarters and mail to the address given to receive the latest Centuri catalog, and a smaller card/instruction detailing how to assemble a plastic nose cone.

If you meant something else, please go ahead and ask.
