Cear coating rockets with decals

I'v read about folks using future floor wax on their rockets. Do you airbrush the stuff, or is it spray? Does it work? Any help or thoughts on clear coating would be cool.

I just tried the Future floor polish and let me tell you, the rocs look great! I have no idea how it will last but for now, I'm sold!! I used a small cheap foam brush to put it on. It does not take alot at all. A bottle ought to last a long, long time.
