For EX motors and custom casings, I do most of my calcs by hand (and some solidworks FEA). I wanted a more elegant way of doing it instead of scribbling on the back of napkins, so I made an Excel Spreadsheet to quickly test ideas.
It's still pretty crude, and it's only used for rough estimations (no heat transfer, no stress concentrations, barlow's formula for burst pressure, full circumfrence snap rings, etc).
Thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone had any feedback, or any ways of improving it (other failure modes, improved formulas).

Also, I suggest opening with Google Sheets, which is what I made it in.
