I launched (2) C5-3 this weekend. Examining the motors post-flight I noticed a decent amount of cap left on top of the motors. Both flights were as expected, with full laundry ejection. Should I file a cato report for these motors?
MESS report, but no. It's not uncommon and doesn't necessarily prevent the ejection charge from working.
I wouldn’t MESS report it. Everything worked as designed. Nothing says the cap needs to be obliterated.
