While checking out some art work on the web, I saw a painting
for what the artist called a "Colony Ship". I thought it doable.
Here's my take on it:

A view from the rear:

I hope the embeded pics work.

I like that!

P.S. I think that embedded pics need to be on the web, rather than on your disk.

Very cool, I love it! (and yes the pics need to be on the web)

Nice design! How will you paint all those details? Airbrush or masking?

Masking and rattle cans. You can find very small masking tape
nowadays.

Welllllll,,I build backwards. Once I have it finished, then I'll
RocSim it, and make any changes to make it stable. Right now
the cg is in front of the bottom cone. About 1 inch up the
front transition. You can't really see from this pic, but it has
five fins, with those tube fins on the end, and finally a single
ring fin on the bottom. For a bottom view check out the posting,
'2nd try'.

It's very cool. I hope you post some finishing and launch pics. Lots of angles during building ehh? Looks like you used a small miter box.

Sorry, when I see a nice looking rocket, I hard copy it, and move
on. I have no idea where I got the original pic.

Mike,

Very cool. Please spend a little extra time and document this whole thing for EMRR...

Heck, hold onto your documentation and submit it for RMR Descon 15 which should start 11/1.

Very neat.
