I tossed the sled in a box of other random rocket parts to be used in a future project with the coffee can full of nuts, bolts, screws and a few candy wrappers in my garage.

Well the Thor took off on Sunday on an Aerotech F40. Like many that have gone before the up was good but something went wrong with the deployment. The rocket went down in the chin-high jaggers, poison ivy, and Russian Olive thickets that border the cleared area of the launch site never to be seen again.
The weight(minus motor) was 800g. The F40 was a good choice. Should have snapped a pic on the pad
