I sent the rocket artist, Chris Willard, a note when they were assembling it, inviting them to a launch. I imagine they probably never even received it, but it was worth a shot.

Sorry for being a bit of off-topic, but by a weird coincidence, I just watched this video of how they restore those large fiberglass statues. I wonder if this one was originally made by the same company... It's just funny how I just watched this video a day ago, and now there is a second occurrence of one of these tall giants.



(BTW: I found the restoration process pretty cool to watch)
