I dodged a bullet on this flight....
G77R load in the 29/120 case. Short delay.
Lit fine....right after I snapped this picture the delay went off. OOOOOOHHHH NOOOOOOOO!
Chute is out...snap...at least the motor had burned out by now. Tangled a bit of the shock cord in the "event". Down she comes...not too hard. Only damage was to the vertical stab attennae. Nothing a little CA won't fix.
Post Mortum on the motor showed no damage at all to the case or forward closure. The o-rings looks good enough to use again. All the fellas there were baffled.
Oh well....she lives to fly again...
