That's right Indiana Rocketry wants you to break our (old) waiver.

The first dog to break our (old) waiver by flying above 13,001 ft wins!
The dog that at the end of this flying season that breaks our
(old) waiver closest to 13001 ft also wins!

Winners receive a $100 gift card and a 30% discount from County Line Hobbies. Thanks Bob, you the man!

Now for the rules.
1. Break the
(old) waiver, not the new one.
2. See rule #1.

Procedures.

1. Notify the RSO of the attempt.
2. Verify the average altitude with the RSO.

FAQ.
1. Are you guys nuts?
Yes.

2. Does 12999ft lose to 13004ft?
Yes, 12999ft does not break our (old) waiver

3. Can one dog win both contests with one flight?
Yes they can. $100 plus $100 equals $200. %30 plus %30 equals %30.

4. Can cats enter?
Sigh, okay. Cool cats, funky monkeys, bare bears and most vertebrate mammals. But no sloths. We have to draw the line
somewhere.

5. When will the winner be notified?
First to break our (old) waiver will receive their prize at that time.
Closest to 13001ft will be notified at the end of this flying season.

6. When does this flying season end?
Our schedule:
Feb, 6th and 7th.
March 6th and 7th
March 27th and 28th
At this time the land owners have planned activities in the field starting in April. This is weather dependent.
Dates may change due to weather.

7. What does the * mean?
Our old waiver. NOT THE NEW 2021 15k ft WAIVER!

8. Is this what happens when there is a launch scheduled and the clouds close in and a bunch of guys stand around and nobody is
flying anything and the conversation gets really weird?
Yes.

Location? Driving from Massachusetts.

15 hours drive one way. 🤔

With gas and coffee, its more like 16.
I leave Friday, get to launch on Saturday, hotel that night, drive home next day.

Do I need to order motors or is the onside vendor comming heavy?

No need to beat around the bush.

Our equipment trailer was broken into (again) and our Wilson F/X equipment was stolen.

We are in communication with Wilson F/X working to replace the missing parts.
As of 1-30 the launch for February 6&7 is still on. That may change.

BTW, the trailer was parked in a truck parking lot and several vehicles were broken into.

Great idea, I would donate as well. Please let us know, hope to see you all early March with (2) 13K flights! :)
Do you need donations to help pay for the replacement? I'm happy to help. Greg Olson
Thanks for the offers. We have enough funds to replace the equipment and we respectfully ask that you donate to your local food bank instead.

Looking forward to picking up all the pieces of our broken (old) waiver!

Feb, 6th and 7th.
March 6th and 7th
March 27th and 28th
Hmm... may have to get out there. My 7.5" Goblin went 13004' on an N800 :)

Still not broken. Try again March 6th and 7th.

Due to the Severe Winter Weather Warning for the area, the launch for Feb. 7th is cancelled.

We have a launch March 6th and 7th and we still have an unbroken waiver!

So, who's going to step up and break our OLD waiver?

If anybody new shows up, and trying to get people to our new field is the reason behind this waiver thingy.
There is a reason why nobody is parking in that grassy area.
So,
Why
Are so
Many
People
Yelling for a tow truck?

We are in contact with the landowners to see if we can get permission for an April Launch. No changes to the schedule as of 3-2. Fingers crossed.

Richard,

So if the green stuff is S.W.A.M.P.Y., should the "new" people park on the road?

Looking forward to seeing you and the Indiana crew again; we're coming for your old waiver!

Eric,
And anybody else.
Pull in the access road towards the barns.
Just remain south of the grain bins.

Glad you decided to join us, is :headspinning: coming with you?

Richard

There is a critical error on your web page. Makes getting directions difficult.
