Bob Dole was the real deal. A true hero when such people get harder to find all of the time. The world and country are better for his having lived.

Earlier this year I read a book on the 10th Mountain Division in WWII. Bob Dole is briefly mentioned in it as he was wounded while fighting with the 10th in Italy. Good man, brave man; his kind are missed.
