Blue Raven altimeters are very awesome!

I did a first flight with a new rocket this past weekend. It was the first dual deploy flight I have ever done.

I had a Blue Raven altimeter w/ a Powerperch in this 4"inch diameter fiberglass rocket. It all worked perfectly. I checked afterwards and all 4 charge cups fired (a first one and a backup for both the drogue at apogee and the main too).



It just cell phone video, but I am pleased as it gets over how well this flight went.

I feel exactly the same way. I have 4 flights on a loc deployer with the blue raven with 4 events each flight, and seven ground test events using my phone. It is just outstanding.

The featherweight GPS also worked perfectly every time except one, and that was operator error.

I was thinking of getting the GPS from Featherweight too. I like the way it uses the same app as the altimeter.

BEWARE: Now that you've gone with electronic deployment it will be hard to go back to motor ejection
