How well does it fly? Is it sensitive to motor selection?

Wish I could tell you, but it hasn't maidened yet.
And Micromaxx motor selection comes in a choice of one.

It flies just fine - IF both motors light. I highly recommend a tiny dab of quickdip on each igniter to facilitate this.
 
Here is my contribution! BT70 tube with plywood fins, 29mm motor mount. Decals from Mark Hayes (Stickershock). Hasn't flown yet.

How about a thin transparent blue applied over gold to simulate a blued steel appearance?
 
Beech Staggerwing in Yellow Wing scheme for our ambassador to the UK at the beginningof WWII, Joseph Kennedy. The Staggerwing has been voted the most beautiful civilian aircraft of all time and the Yellow Wing USAAF paint scheme looked marvelous!
